On October 22nd, at 7 pm, the exhibition and meeting space “Editorial” (Latako str. 3, ground floor, Vilnius), during Vilnius Gallery Weekend, will welcome visitors to the opening of its group exhibition “Under One’s Breath”.
This year the cards have been completely shuffled. Instead of opening at the end of the year, the exhibition, consisting of unique and limited edition works, is set to be presented in October.
“Under One’s Breath” are the things that aren’t loud, the things you wish to keep to yourself, or whisper to a friend. The artists participating in this exhibition are those who have showcased their work at “Editorial” in the last two years: Neringa Vasiliauskaitė, Vytenis Burokas, Ona Juciūtė, Eglė Kulbokaitė and Dorota Gawęda (Young Girl Reading Group), Ellie Rae Hunter, Kaspars Groševs & Marta Trektere, Valentinas Klimašauskas & Jaakko Pallasvuo
Exposition: Laura Kaminskaitė
Exhibition design: Nerijus Rimkus
All money collected during the event will go to the further development of “Editorial’s” programme and events.
The exhibition will be open until November 28th. “Editorial” is open Wed–Fri, 3–7 pm, and Sat, noon–4 pm.
Special thanks to: Antanas Gerlikas, Robertas Narkus and all of the participants.
The public institution “Artnews.lt” is sponsored by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and Vilnius City Municipality.
All pieces from last year’s editions show are available here.
„Editorial“ urges all visitors to be mindful of the current protective measures against the spreading of Covid-19: we kindly ask you to wear appropriate face coverings and keep a safe distance from other participants.
