Marta Trektere (b. 1994) is a performance artist, writer and an independent curator based Riga, Latvia. Currently co-running artist-run space 427 gallery in Riga. Trektere’s works addresses simplicity of complexity in everyday life as well as psychological difficulties in life, art and text working with various media like performance, text, video, sound.

He has had solo/duo shows at Low gallery, Riga; Latvian National Museum of Art, Riga; Futura, Prague; C.C. von Strizky’s villa, Riga; Shanaynay, Paris; Kim? Contemporary Art Centre, Riga. His work has been shown at group shows at Bozar, Brussels; SIC, Helsinki; Latvian Institute Rome, Rome; CAC, Vilnius; Careof, Milano; Art in General, New York; Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow, a.o. Kaspars Groševs performs with his music under Figūras alias and is occasionally writing for Latvian culture press. Co-founder and curator of 427 gallery in Riga.
